Adult Services
​The Scottsboro Public Library offers many items for our adult patrons to check out. We also offer several different types of programs for adults. 

Monthly programs include: 
  • Writers Group 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 9:30 am
  • Star Stitchers - quilting group 2nd Thursday at 6:30 pm
  • Yarnies group - knitting and crocheting group 2nd and 4th Saturday at 10 am
  • Scottsboro Book Club - Every other Thursday at 5:15 pm
  • Kids n Kin is a FREE statewide program to provide support and assistance for grandparens, aunts, uncles, and older siblings who provide child care for their relatives' children - see the library for dates and times. 

We also offer monthly evening programs for our adults. Some are FREE programs and others have a small fee to cover the cost of supplies. 

Also for adults, we have a yearly Readers Club Challenge. For this challenge, adults sign up at the library's front desk and get a book log to keep track of all the read in a year. There are 3 different levels in the challenge: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.  
And during the summer, we offer a reading challenge and events for our adults, too.​
